Overview of the Mental Wellness Product:

Mind Alcove is an innovative mental wellness product with a mission to promote lifelong habits for self-awareness, mental and emotional fitness, and fostering a compassionate, judgment-free world. The target audience includes individuals in India, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE, Australia, UK, US, and Canada, with a focus on mobile-first users.

Problem Statement:

In a world where 80% of the population faces mental health risks, stigma, shame, lack of awareness, and limited access to affordable solutions prevent individuals from seeking help. ‘Mind Alcove’ was born out of the need to address these issues, reduce economic losses due to mental health, and prioritize preventive techniques.

Branding Transformation:

OLD LOGO

The initial state of the app’s branding was typical and generic. The design team, led by Creative Director Jugal, introduced vibrant and youthful colors, refreshing illustrations, and user-friendly typography. Inspired by elements like the rising sun, happiness, and mindfulness, the new brand identity breathed life into ‘Mind Alcove’, the mental wellness product.

Brand Guidelines:

A comprehensive set of brand guidelines was established, covering styles, colors, typography, photography, illustrations, elements, do’s and don’ts, presentations, and social media posts.

UI/UX Design Approach:

OLD UI

The UI/UX redesign aimed to provide a daily inviting and stress-free experience. Project Manager Sarvajeet played a pivotal role in managing the project, ensuring that timelines and deliverables were met. UI Designers Khushboo and Virendra were instrumental in crafting the app’s user interface, while Brand Designers Pratik and Aditi took charge of the branding work.

UX Designers Aditya and Harsh focused on enhancing the user experience, working on user journeys, wireframes, and ensuring that the app’s design was aligned with user needs and preferences. Key features were simplified to enhance usability and aesthetics.

Design Process:

Following the design thinking process (Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test), the agency incorporated user research and feedback to shape the app’s user journey and module selection.

Results and Impact:

Re-Branded & Re-Designed

The redesign led to increased user engagement, app downloads, and heightened user satisfaction. Design improvements directly addressed the identified challenges by making mental wellness more accessible and engaging.
